| MRV Products OptiSwitch-Z1000 Single-Blade L2/3/4 Switching  The OptiSwitch-Z1000 product is a modular Layer 2/3/4 Switch, optimized for scalability, reliability, and performance. The OS-Z1000 is the wiring closet form factor of OptiSwitch-Z featuring a 1 blade slot, 16Gbps of switching capacity, and 11Mpps throughput. The blade is a complete router with up to four connectors for I/O and Processor Modules, including 10/100 Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, on-board CPU, and other function modules. The OptiSwitch-Z highly configurable flow based policing with rate limiting capabilities provides the power to create an optimized network. Flow priority can be defined by TCP/UDP quintet (source address, destination address, IP protocol, source port, destination port), as well as additional parameters such as inbound port and TCP flags, enabling effective implementation of Service Level Agreements. |
