NEBS Certified Switch- Nebs Certified Switches-Central Office NOC Switch- Nebs Certified NOC Switches- Network Operations Switch- Carrier Class Switch- Layer 3 Metro Access Switch- Cisco Catayst 2950G-48

American Tele Data carries the T5 Compact™ Target Identifier (TID) NEBS certified switch that is not just NEBS compliant but is a NEBS certified switch. Telco also has other NEBS certified switches including the Telco T5 Pro which is aT5Pro’s™ multi-layer, multi-service switch with capabilities that provide speed and simplicity along with robust services such as bandwidth management, traffic shaping, security and Quality of Service (QoS). T5Pro can be configured as a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) Access Multiplexer feeding as many as 72 locations with 10 Mbps of symmetrical VDSL. Its architecture is scalable and easily upgradeable with customers’ needs for higher bandwidth and integration of their voice, data and video services central office carrier class switch which offers central office and service providers a cost-effective solution for aggregation and management of up to 480 Translation Language 1 (TL1) network elements (NE) through a single IP address. T5 Compact TID is the perfect solution for service providers who are looking to conserve valuable IP addresses in their COs. It is the only 1 RU, 48-port TID NEBS certified switch available. The carrier-class T5 Compact TID is NEBS certified and offers redundant power supplies.

T-5 NEBS CERIFIED SWITCH

Telco T-5 Pro Nebs Certified Switch T5 Compact™ Target Identifier (TID) switch offers service providers a cost-effective solution for aggregation and management of up to 480 Translation Language 1 (TL1) network elements (NE) through a single IP address. T5 Compact TID is the perfect solution for service providers who are looking to conserve valuable IP addresses in their COs. It is the only 1 RU, 48-port TID switch available. The carrier-class T5 Compact TID is NEBS certified and offers redundant power supplies. In a typical service provider network, there is a central NOC that monitors NEs withina specified network using TL1 protocol. Typically, in order to communicate with a specific NE (like Telco Systems’ M13 EdgeLink100), each NE is assigned a dedicated IP address. This becomes a major management problem as the number of NEs increases. COs are exhausting their blocks of assigned management IP addresses given to them by the central NOC. Telco Systems’ T5 Compact TID solves this problem by enabling service providers to conserve valuable IP addresses by aggregating TL1 management of up to 480 NEs through a single IP address.T5 Compact TID offers dramatic cost savings by reducing the amount of expensive NOC switches. It also significantly reduces the number of management cables between network and NOC racks.T5 Compact TID is easy to install at the top of any relay rack containing NEs from various vendors. Up to 48 NEs can be directly connected to the T5 Compact TID via a 10/100BaseTX Ethernet link. TL1 alarming is transported over these links to the T5 Compact TID and then on to the NOC.T5 Compact TID is also unique in that it supports management of TL1 devices that are "nested" behind the directly connected NEs. This includes NEs that support TL1 flow through management, as well as NEs that act as switches between the IP and OSI management networks thus providing TL1 access to the OSI-based TL1 devices beyond. T5 Compact TID supports up to 9 such nested remote devices for each directly connected NE. This allows T5 Compact TID to manage up to 480 network elements while still using up only one IP address on the management network.

T5 Compact™ Target Identifier (TID) switch offers service providers a cost-effective solution for aggregation and management of up to 480 Translation Language 1 (TL1) network elements (NE) through a single IP address. T5 Compact TID is the perfect solution for service providers who are looking to conserve valuable IP addresses in their COs. It is the only 1 RU, 48-port TID switch available. The carrier-class T5 Compact TID is NEBS certified and offers redundant power supplies.

In a typical service provider network, there is a central NOC that monitors NEs within
a specified network using TL1 protocol. Telco Systems’ T5 Compact TID solves this problem by enabling service providers to conserve valuable IP addresses by aggregating TL1 management of up to 480 NEs through a single IP address.

T5 Compact TID offers dramatic cost savings by reducing the amount of expensive NOC switches. It also significantly reduces the number of management cables between network and NOC racks.

T5 Compact TID is easy to install at the top of any relay rack containing NEs from various vendors. Up to 48 NEs can be directly connected to the T5 Compact TID via a 10/100BaseTX Ethernet link. TL1 alarming is transported over these links to the T5 Compact TID and then on to the NOC.

T5 Compact TID is also unique in that it supports management of TL1 devices that are "nested" behind the directly connected NEs.
