| MRV Products MS105 - Unmanaged 5-Port Ethernet Switches  The MS105 products are 5-port switches, which are targeted for SOHO, FTTH, and other applications where a few 10/100BaseTX devices need to be concentrated and connected to the network by fiber connections. The family members differ from each other by the type of fiber optic ports connection they accommodate, with a choice of multimode fiber, singlemode fiber, single fiber operation, different wavelengths and power levels as well as different connector types (DSC, SC and MTRJ). The copper ports support 10/100 auto-negotiation, but can be manually forced to specific mode of operation. They also support both MDI and MDI-X connections, so direct or crossed patch cords may be used. |
